Starting with food trucks in Dallas–Fort Worth
Tap in. Earn free food at the spots you love.
Tap your phone on the TapHang sticker at the counter to check in, then earn points toward rewards every time you buy. Your first tap works without installing anything.
How it works
-
Tap the sticker
Hold your phone to the TapHang sticker at the counter. You’re checked in in seconds, app or no app.
-
Earn when you buy
When you pick up your order, tap the staff tag. The purchase is verified on the spot and you earn 10 points there.
-
Get rewarded
Save up for rewards each spot chooses, like a free taco around every fifth purchase. Redeem with one tap in the app.
Find the truck, wherever it parked
See spots near you on a map. Trucks move their pin when they park, so you know where they are today.
Reviews from people who were there
Only customers who checked in can review a spot, and verified purchases get a badge. No drive-by ratings.
Keep what you earn
Points earned before you install the app carry over when you do. Once you’re signed in, they move with you to a new phone.

No punch cards, no new hardware. We send you the stickers; you choose the rewards and see who keeps coming back.
- Rewards you choose. A free taco, a drink, anything, with an optional weekly limit.
- Points that can’t be faked. They only count when someone buys at your counter and taps your staff tag.

Questions
Do I need the app?
Not for your first visit: tapping the sticker checks you in from your phone’s browser. The app is where you keep your points, redeem rewards and follow spots, and anything you earned before installing carries over.
Which phones work?
iPhones from the last several years and most Android phones can read the sticker: hold the top of your phone close to it. On Android, NFC needs to be turned on.
Why does it ask for my location?
To make sure points are earned by people who are actually at the spot. It’s checked when you tap in. If you’d rather not share it, you still check in, but that visit doesn’t earn points.
